]]> Marek Landscaping, LLC was hired to provide land stewardship services along two miles of Pine Creek, located near New Holstein, Calumet County, Wisconsin. The creek had been contaminated by PCBs and heavy metals, underwent extensive remediation, and is now in the 5-year vegetation restoration management phase. Our work included mapping invasive plant species, developing a management plan, managing for invasive plants, and replacing and pruning trees installed during the remediation phase. Various methods were used according to the specific phenology of each invasive plant.
