Public Tour of Atwater Beach

August 24, 2013 – The Village of Shorewood, Marek Landscaping, LLC, and Friends of Atwater Beach will be hosting a public tour of the park to discuss the Lake Michigan bluff & dune stabilization and coastal plant community and habitat restoration. The tour will take place on August 24th, 2013 at 9:30am at Atwater Park (4000 N. Lake Drive, Shorewood, WI 53211). Please come join us and learn about the innovative stabilization techniques! Atwater Bluff Restoration Receives Fund for Lake Michigan Grant

April 3, 2013 – Marek Landscaping assisted the Village of Shorewood in obtaining funding from the Fund for Lake Michigan to continue native bluff and dune habitat restoration at the Lake Michigan beach. The grant award was highlighted in the Shorewood Patch.
