7th Annual Monarch Migration Celebration August 24th

August 19, 2014 – The Friends of the Monarch Trail are inviting the public to celebrate the importance of preserving monarch habitat to allow the species to survive and thrive. Marek Landscaping has been working on the Habitat Protection Area with the UW-Milwaukee Field Station at the Milwaukee County Grounds for the past 5 years in this effort. Sunday’s event, which runs from 4pm-7pm, will feature guided tours of the Monarch Trail, educational displays, live traditional Irish music, food, and the touring dance project “Moving for Monarchs“.
