Our focus is on natural areas management, shoreline stabilizations, green infrastructure, trails, and parks. We are currently seeking a licensed Landscape Architect to:
• Serve as project manager for multi-disciplinary projects, including being the main point of contact, managing project schedule and budget, and directing design staff for completing tasks.
• Mentor landscape designers and support staff.
• Create design budgets and proposals for a variety of clientele (public, non-profit, and residential).
• Prepare renderings and exhibits for private clients and public informational meetings.
• Produce landscape designs and specifications from concept through construction drawing stage including detailed drawings, planting designs, grading plans, and site layout. Projects include permeable pavers and green infrastructure. Materials often include natural stone, black locust whole logs and milled lumber, and custom fabricated metals.
• Generate construction budgets and bids.
• Communicate with Foremen to direct field crew on design implementation.
• Work independently and as part of a team, often in a cross-disciplinary manner.
• Help generate new client leads.
• Create partnerships with local suppliers and contractors.
• Help develop standard specifications and construction details and documents.
• Managing client communications and relationships.
• Manage up to four designers.
• Learn and implement the principles of biomimicry.
• Collaborate with Principal and other design staff.
Qualifications:
• Professional landscape architecture degree (Accredited: BLA, BSLA, MLA).
• Experience with stormwater management and/or sustainable design.
• Current Landscape Architecture licensure in Wisconsin (additional states a plus).
• Minimum 5 years professional experience as Landscape Architect.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Creative Cloud suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp/Rhino.
• Experience with field monitoring and reporting a plus.
• Knowledge of native Wisconsin plant communities is a plus.

We are currently seeking a Landscape Construction Crew Member to:
• Work independently and as part of a team, following instruction from Construction Foreman
• Operate or be willing to learn the proper operation of various tools and equipment: chainsaws, jackhammers, power tools, skid steers, compact excavators, tractors, and other specialized equipment
• Perform maintenance on tools and equipment: inspections, lubricating, and cleaning
• Assist with the installation of green infrastructure in residential and commercial hardscape and softscape features, including:
o Natural stone & paver patios, walkways, trail systems
o Retaining walls
o Green roofs
o Ponds, fountains, streams, and other water features
o Bluff stabilization and access infrastructure
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently daily
Qualifications:
• Capability to work outdoors
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Any agricultural, construction, or landscaping experience desirable
